Digital Easy Fit Plug for Scalextric C8515

From 2007 onward, most cars will come standard with a socket on the car, where the Easy Fit Digital Plug can be connected to convert the car for use on a SCALEXTRIC DIGITAL layout. The C8515 Easy Fit Digital Plug is suitable for fitting to standard DPR Scalextric cars, and the conversion only requires a small screwdriver, taking less than sixty seconds to convert a DPR car.

The conversion process involves three simple steps: 1) Unscrew the panel on the base of the car and disconnect the braid-to-motor wiring plug; 2) Connect the Easy Fit Digital Plug to the braid-to-motor wiring plug; and 3) Replace the retaining screw to secure the Easy Fit Digital Plug to the chassis. The Easy Fit Digital Plug offers a 'plug and play' solution, allowing DPR Scalextric cars to be digitized in under sixty seconds, and the plug can be easily transferred from one car to another.

To convert F1, Open Wheel, and Single Seater DPR Scalextric cars to Digital, use the C8516 Easy Fit Digital Plug Chip for F1 DPR Cars. Many non-DPR Scalextric cars can also be converted to Digital using the Digital Chip C7005.
