Shop / micro scalextric slot cars 1 64
Boasting a 1275cc engine that has been tuned from its original 57 horsepower to a powerful 120 horsepower, it's easy to see how this Mini earned its name. After a long and successful run in rally events, Mini turned its attention to a new challenge: the British Saloon Car Championship, now known as the British Touring Car Championship. In 1978, driver Richard Longman took the track by storm, securing victory and defending his title again in 1979 while racing in the Patrick Motorsports liveried car, marking Mini's first win in the championship since 1969.
Scalextric taps directly into the nostalgic thrill of motor racing, bringing the excitement of the track to life in the comfort of your own living room. Scalextric is the ultimate racing system for all ages, where miniature cars compete against each other on a specialized track, drawing their power from a slot in the center of each lane (Scalextric is also commonly referred to as "slot racing").
This classic car is meticulously detailed, featuring a fully realized interior and a race car driver. The car's exterior is also highly detailed, complete with working Xenon effect headlights and functioning taillights. Changing the braids is a breeze, and the car is equipped with magnatraction for enhanced performance.
The car is compatible with all 1:32 scale analog slot car race tracks. However, it cannot be upgraded to digital layouts, as there is insufficient space within the body to accommodate a digital chip.
